This morning while the kids were biding their time waiting for the July 4th parade to begin, they decided to play "Star Wars". At some point, Sophie came to me, with a light saber on her hip and the dog in her arms and said: "Mom, hear this and remember it: I am Princess Leia, and Zipper is my Royal Steve!" (I assume she meant "loyal steed", but maybe I missed something in the Star Wars movies?!)
